Our work will help you understand how it is that you came to the present place and what needs to be worked through to arrive at a place you’d rather be.
I operate from a here and now perspective. We will examine how your thoughts, emotions and behaviors may have contributed to unhealthy or negative experiences in your life and how to find alternative behaviors that are healthier and more balanced. Balance in life is important and finding ways to achieve that through reflection and challenging yourself is what therapy is all about. Individuals should not be treated through a cookie cutter lens. We will identify how to work with your current strengths, as well as identify newfound strengths and tools in order to begin to discover a more balanced, healthy version of yourself.
Holding clients accountable is something I feel is important in treatment and helps facilitate true areas of growth. Through our work together, clients can eliminate fears, stay on track with life choices, and release the pain that has been keeping them stuck.
